CHAIRMAN

Safira Mohd Anif has years of experience in the fields of Management and Consulting and is dynamic Administrator for which and she and her life partner/husband formed S & S Quest Resources Sdn Bhd in 2010. In the past, she has been involved in companies in various industries including events, Public Relations, Engineering and General Management. She has also been active in various NGO’s and still continues many charitable causes frequently.

Datuk Shamrat Sen Gupta DPSM, JMW, PPW, FInstAM, MInstLM, PHF

Datuk Shamrat Sen Gupta is a Fellow of the Institute of Administrative Management (UK) and Member of the Institute of Leadership and Management (UK), upon returning to K.L, after returning from overseas completing his tertiary studies, went on to work in AFFINBANK Corporate HQ in the Marketing & Retail Banking Department. He was appointed General Manager, South East Asian Operations of an I.T. company in K.L. and also for a short period after that as General Manager of a Security Systems company. Datuk Shamrat joined a HR and Training Company as Marketing/ International Relations Director where he eventually served as Executive Director. Datuk Shamrat is the founding director and currently Managing Director of S & S Quest Resources Sdn Bhd (formed 2010) a G7 , Bumiputera civil construction and management consulting company and is a Director/ investor in multiple other private listed entities in the fields of Consulting, IT, Rail Infra and F&B among others.

Involvement in Social, National service, CSR work include:

Mentor Advisor to the Business Degree Program for Help College of Arts & Technology, HELP UNIVERSITY KL (US SNHU Program from 2013-2016).
Youth Chairman of the Malaysian Bengalee Association [2004] and the representative of the North Indian Society to the Wilayah Youth Consultative Council the same year.
Founding Vice-President I of the 1Malaysia Indian Students Movement to solve Indian Students issues in Higher Education.
Exco Member of NGO’s in Lembah Pantai.
Chairman, Bangsar Zone of the Residents Council on Urban Well-being under the auspices of the Ministry of Federal Teritorries for the period 2014-2015.
Active Rotaractor in the early 2000’s has held positions as International Service Director, Club Service Director and Vice President [2 terms], Comm Member to 1st Regional Rotaract Conference and President.
Shamrat after having served as the Rotaract Advisor, Club Service Director, Vocational Services Director, Secretary and Vice-President, President Elect.
Joined the Rotary Club of Bangsar after leaving Rotaract in 2004. In 2010, Shamrat became the youngest ever President of Rotary Club of Bangsar after holding various other positions through the years.

He also has and is serving in the Rotary District Level Committees for Membership Development and Retention, Public Relations, Youth Service, Polio Elimination (PolioPlus), The Rotary Foundation, The Rotary Square and Rotary Kasih for Rotary International District 3300 and was also one of the District Secretaries to the Governor in 2012/2013; District Public Image Chairman 2017/18.

He was the Assistant Governor of District 3300 Malaysia for the year 2014/15. Datuk Shamrat is a Paul Harris Fellow (Multiple PHF) and is now a Major Donor Level 2, to the Rotary Foundation, the First Major Patron 1 in Malaysia of the Yayasan Kelab Kelab Rotary Foundation Malaysia in 2016.

Prof. (Dr.) Sudhir Ranjan Sen Gupta, JP

ADVISOR

Prof. (Dr.) Sudhir Ranjan Sen Gupta, (Justice of Peace) embarked on his career as a Teacher in 1964 and since then has served in various capacities in the field of Private Education in Malaysia.

For his exemplary service he received the Lifetime Achievement Award for Contributions in Education by Stamford College Group. He was bestowed with Honorary Fellowships by the Association of Business Executives (UK) and the Institute of Administrative Management (UK) and Hon. Doctorate by APG University, India for initiating and introducing various professional and tertiary twinning programmes in Malaysia.

His continuous span in helping in the Establishment and Management of Private Education in Malaysia for the last 57 years has earned him the reputation of being currently acknowledged as the DOYEN OF PRIVATE EDUCATION IN MALAYSIA.

Apart from being a distinguished educationist and a pioneer in private education in Malaysia Dr. Sen has contributed immensely towards the socio and economic development for the country. He has been actively participating in various NGO’s such as Rotary International, Malaysian Bengalee Association (MBA), Ramakrishna Mission (Malaysia) among others.

Dr. Sen has also been successful in gaining support from the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, Malaysia as well as from the Prime Minister’s Department, Malaysia to ensure continued assistance in promoting the culture and heritage of India.

Dr. Sen has been an active Rotarian for more than three decades and has served and contributed to the various ideals and objectives of Rotary which are highlighted below.

In honor and deep appreciation of devoted and unselfish to the Rotary International District 3300 and the community, Dr. Sen was among his other accomplishments in Rotary presented with the Distinguished Service Citation during the Rotary year 2014-2015.

Dr. Sen was personally Interviewed by Patrick Kulig & Mirko Kulig (BBC Commentators) on a documentary titled ‘Malaysia – An Answer to Intolerance’ – reportage about Malaysia and its social reality in the present-day context, speaking of Malaysia as one of the wealthiest nations of South-East Asia, as quoted by Dr. Sen in the documentary “A glaring example that the world should pick up”.
Participated and contributed in the ‘Coffee Table Book Project’ on “Journeys of the Heart” which was an initiative by the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development to “try and capture the joy, love and security that strong, close knit families bring to the nation”.

Dr. Sen was awarded the distinguished and coveted Justice of Peace by DYMM YANG DI-PERTUAN BESAR (The State Ruler) Of NEGERI SEMBILAN in the year 2008 for his outstanding contributions towards education and community services.
